Very nice cover with normal file folds, one down the center margin of the pair, right stamp just cut in two sides with slight edge nicks. Pair with signed ACM connected, blue pen cancels on folded letter without date or content to Cincinnati Ohio. No date apparent - attractive postmaster provisional cover. Red New York10 cts circular date stamp and red PAID in arc.

Cover sent on MAR 18, 18xx and may be addressed to Rev. Alexander Meharry (1813-1878), Methodist Episcopal minister at the New Street Church (1848-49 Cincinnati City Directory)
[Note this is the closest name match I could find. The letter after the H in the addressee’s name looks more like a u than an a (compare to a in Cincinnati) and the r’s look more like n’s.].
There are no other covers to this addressee in this census or the 1847 issue census.
