Two copies of Type 1 St Louis Provisionals on Lilac Paper (11X5) on large piece of cover addressed to Philadelphia. Does not appear to match any cover in the Bennett /Faiman census.
Lot 1520 Small Postmaster Provisional Cover Group, covers include with 9X3 (torn), 9X1e (stain and heavy crease) 2008 PF cert, 9X1a and a 9X1, a nice representative group for someone seeking examples of the many varieties of this issue, there is one unused 10X1 single adhesive though these are often reprints .
