Lot 25 1845-46 and 1846 Issues, 20c, First Alteration Plate, Type I on gray lilac and 10c, Original Plate, Type III on greenish paper.
Stamps: 20c: sheet margin at left, small margin at bottom, cut along frame line at tip, right margin covered by 10c but good. A crease on the cover has slightly cracked the paper inside the left frame line. Stamps with sheet margin are rare as majority had margins trimmed.
10c: large margins all around but has tear at left.
Tied with single line pen cancellation and St. Louis JUL 16 1846 pmk.
Cover: Medium and neat.
