Mexico – There is also a cover with a pair of 5c New York Postmaster’s Provisionals addressed to Matamoros, Mexico, during the Mexican War. This cover was exhibited by a German collector at ESPANA ’84 and at PHILEXFRANCE ’89 and is the only known example of a Mew York Postmaster’s stamp to Mexico.
