Four margin single, position 29, black pen canceled and not tied on folded letter with indistinct red postmark. This cover has the curved red PAID and manuscript 5 in the upper right corner and black manuscript U. S. Mail and Paid in the lower left corner. The cover is addressed to Howland and Aspinwall, New York, NY. As lot 10 in the Siegel sale held October 19, 1976, it sold for $1650 to a New York dealer.
