New York, N.Y., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish, signed A.C.M (Pos. 38), four huge even margins including part of the next stamp at right, cancelled blue pen strokes with red "New-York/5cts." cds with "Paid" in arc alongside on 1849 folded cover to Boston, Extremely Fine and choice, a most unusual and rare item used concurrent to the 1847 issue.
