Cover probably sent in care of her brother Lorenzo Niles Fowler. Charlotte, her brother Lorenzo and her brother Orson Squire Fowler were all phrenologists living at 131 Nassau Street in NYC (1843 Doggett’s) Their father, Horace Fowler, was a deacon and a Judge.
Charlotte Fowler Wells (1814-1901) was a phrenologist and publisher of the American Phrenological Journal. She married Samuel Roberts Wells (1820-1875) on Oct 14, 1844.
