Letter written to William W. Rose, stationer, at 28 Wall Street (1843 Doggett’s). Letter is datelined Tuesday, March 11, 1843. However, March 11th was a Saturday so I believe the letter was written on April 11, 1843, a Tuesday. (We have all done this.) This concurs with the April 13 cds. The letter is signed Apollonis (his wife) and refers to things at home and the children’s activities.
By 1857, William was listed as a Printer, Engraver, and Lithographer located at 17 Wall Street.
