The 1843 and 1845 editions of Doggett’s list John Campbell, paper, at 81 Warren Street. This was probably his place of business. His home address is not listed.
The two CDSs indicate that the letter was undeliverable on the 20th and was next delivered on the 22nd.
Why not the 21st? Nov 21st fell on a Tuesday (1843), Thursday (1844), Friday (1845) and Saturday (1846). The Post was operational each of these days.
