Letter addressed to Dr. H. van Arsdale, 78 Broadway, NYC. The 1845, 1846 and 1847 editions of Doggett’s lists Dr. Henry van Arsdale at three separate addresses, none of which match this letter although the 1846 edition is simply 8th and Broadway.
The letter was written by a C. A. Lee who was probably Charles A. Lee, physician.
Not listed in the Calvet Hahn census in The Penny Post.
