Addressed to Thaddeus Burr Wakeman (1778-1848) at the American Institute on Park Ave. (1845 Doggett).
Mr. Wakeman was a lawyer and the corresponding secretary and the superintending agent for the Institute, which was responsible for producing annual fairs in the City and reported to the NY State Agricultural Society.
