The 1845 edition of Doggett’s lists Sarah F. Clark, widow of Israel, at this address. In 1842-43 she was living at 171 Spring Street. In the 1846 edition she was living at 186 Prince Street. Therefore we can be almost sure that this cover was mailed in Sept 1844.
