Lot 81 New York, N.Y., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish, signed "AC M" (9X1a), ample to large margins including part of adjoining stamp at top, tied by blue manuscript "X" on undated folded cover to Lockport, N.Y., red "New-York 10cts 2 Aug." and matching "Paid", below this was a pencil left "10" which was erased but still reads clearly, indicating the balance was paid in cash; without side flaps, Very Fine.
