Position 12, full margins all around, tied by blue pen strokes, red "New-York 5 cts. 8 Jun." integral-rate circular datestamp with matching "Paid" arc handstamp on half of 1845 folded letter sheet, originated in Cincinnati, re-addressed and re-mailed to Norwich Conn., sent from Cincinnati to New York unpaid with "Cincinnati O. Jun. 3" circular datestamp, "x" marks cross out the letters of the postmark, manuscript "10" due notation for the over-300 miles rate (mostly covered over by the Provisional stamp), New York address erased and re-addressed, preserving the addressee's name, docketed at left "New York June 8 of /46", some cover wear and mended tears, still Very Fine appearing and fascinating use, with 1990 P.F. certificate
