Field, heavy file fold and light soiling, with 1980 P.F. certificate, second with four-margin stamp tied by "Paid" arc with second strike to right, New Year's day 1847 circular datestamp on folded acknowledgement form from Cyrus W. Field & Co. (not signed by Field himself), also to South Lee, heavy file fold, Fine appearing pair of covers, Cyrus W. Field was a financier who led the American Telegraph Company, which laid the first successful telegraph cable across the Atlantic Ocean
