Lot 70 New York, N.Y., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish, signed "AC M" (9X1a), position 36 showing top frameline double, large margins except close at top, tied by blue pen cancel on 1846 envelope with an intact wax seal to a State Senator in Albany, postmarked red "New-York (5 cts.) 20 Jan" c.d.s. and matching "PAID" in arc, Very Fine and with enclosed letter. ¨Scott $850
