Lot 130 9X1a, 5c black, position 40, large to huge margins, neatly cancelled by two short black ms pen strokes(scarcer type) and a red New York / 5 cts postmark on an Oct. 18, 1845 folded cover to Windsor Mass, red PAID without top and bottom folds, extremely fine; the AC M initials are in a color somewhat different than usually encountered and believed to have only been used for a brief period in the fall of 1845; ex Hollowbush (Fox, 8/15/66).
