IT IS A GENUINE USAGE, THE STAMP WITH A VERTICAL FILE CREASE BREAKING PAPER AT BOTTOM.

Type B without the additional roll in "C", full margins to slightly in at bottom left corner, tied by blue penstrokes, blurry strike of red "New-York Paid 5 Jul. 31" foreign-mail integral-rate circular datestamp on 1845 folded cover to Sheffield, England, sender's ship designation "Britannia" at lower left, "1/-" shilling due handstamp, Liverpool and Sheffield transit and receiving backstamps, soiling and cover wear affect part of address which is enhanced with pen, Very Fine appearance, an early use of the New York Provisional on a transatlantic cover, ex Waterhouse and Krug, signed Ashbrook
