Full to huge margins, cancelled by perfect strike of red "Paid" arc handstamp (not tied), matching "New-York Jul. 27" (1845) circular datestamp on folded letter to Philadelphia, datelined "New York July 25, 1845", some light soiling and ink erosion in address, file fold well away from stamp, Very Fine appearance and a nice companion to the July 17 letter in lot 589, the New York integral-rate datestamp is more often seen than this circular datestamp
