(1845) integral-rate circular datestamp and matching "Paid" arc handstamp on folded letter to Hartford Conn., datelined "New York July 16, 1845", manuscript "Paid", stamp creased from file fold, a Fine appearing and scarce July 16, 1845 use which is the second earliest known, fewer than five are recorded from this date
