It is an interesting folded letter, as it was written by Dr. Robert Wesselhoeft who found success as the founder and director of the Brattleboro water cure established in Brattleboro in 1843. He is also recognized as the father of Homeopathy in the USA. The letter is written in an old German text and it took a lot of work to find someone who could translate it. Only half of the letter is present. The contents relate to the printing of a German language newspaper in Philadelphia by Seidensticker and Wesselhoeft's assistance in distributing same in VT
