The letter is addressed to McClintock Young, Jr. (1836-1913), son of McClintock Young and Susan Bird Newman. Master Young was born in Washington DC and lived in Frederick, Md. with his wife, Louisa Mobley. They had 4 children. McClintock was awarded a patent on a Harvester which he sold to Cyrus Hall McCormick
Rev. Charles H. Stonestreet served at the St. John’s Church in Frederick from 1848 to 1850.
