The 1850 Boston City Directory lists Foster & Taylor as wine importers and foreign commercial merchants located at 161 Milk Street. The name Foster on the front (written sideways) and Taylor on the reverse appear to be docketing. This is also supported by the Foster & Taylor, Boston handstamp in the upper left corner,
