This letter was written in New York City by H. K. Kindall on April 18, 1850 and postmarked on April 19th. There is another postmark in the lower left corner that may have been applied in Poughkeepsie NY on April 19th. It is logical that the MISSENT and FORWARDED hadstamps were applied there and the letter was sent on to Syracuse, NY. The stamp was applied in NYC and has a typical red square grid cancel.
