1847, 5¢ red brown (No. 1), ample to large margins, cancelled by twice struck "Paid" in red, on 1848 folded letter to Lenox, Mass., light but clear "Boston & Albany R.R. Nov. 2" c.d.s., stamp tied by light embossing of handstamp, inconsequential toned spot in bottom left margin, still Very Fine.
