This cover to Messr. Richards & Buell at Morristown, New York, apparently used as a business address for some of their clients. Letters addressed to Morristown required only U. S. postage. A postal clerk crossed out the "5" in the day date mistaking it for the 5 cent rate which he corrected with a "10" in ink to reflect the 10c rate. 1848 use. (J. King Horner Collection).
