IT IS A GENUINE USAGE, BOTH STAMPS WITH LIGHT VERTICAL FILE CREASES AT LEFT; THE LETTERSHEET WITHOUT BOTTOM FLAP, AND REFOLDED
Letter to Judge Harvey Humphrey (1796-1877), lawyer. Moved to Rochester in 1824. He filled the office of justice of the peace many years, was one of the members of the first Common Council, supervisor many terms, and judge of Monroe County from 1852 to 1856. Entered a partnership with his son George in 1851 under the firm H. & G. H. Humphrey.
