Anna Chadwick was the daughter of Lucretia N and William N. Chadwick of Cohoes, NY. Anna attended boarding school in NYC in the 1850’s. The family papers, including the correspondences of Anna, and her brothers Joseph and Peter Remsen Chadwick, are part of the Selected Women’s History Collections in the NY State Library.
