US 1849 10c Washington cover (#2) VFU ¨An attractive smallish cover bearing a very presentable used example of the ever popular 10c Washington (#2) tied by red St Louis April 8th 1849 and addressed to Massachusetts containing a long and charming letter from a Mother to her sons: stamp has rich color and enormous margins all round (filing folds have unfortunately creased the stamp) none of which detracting from this otherwise charming and VF cover.
