#1, 5c Red brown, Turner correspondence cover to Boston characteristically franked with two singles affixed overlapping diagonally, both with large even margins all around, vivid rich color and detailed early printing impression, tied by twice struck red "St. Louis Mo./Feb 4" datestamp with integral "10" rate, c.d.s. repeated to the right, very fine; signed Daniel F. Kelleher; a new discovery, making this one of fifteen such 5c covers known; unlisted in the Alexander census (see Chronicle 224, November 2009)
