Jan. 11" circular datestamp on blue 1848 folded letter to New York, light vertical file fold well away from stamp, Very Fine, this is the earliest of the five recorded 5c 1847 covers from West Stockbridge, with 1989 P.F. certificate describing this as the "Pure Brown shade"
