James D. W. Chambers and Henry A. Heiser ran a dry goods business at 43 Liberty Street in NYC (1846 Doggett's).
The 1845 Rochester City directory lists Henry Cady as the Proprietor of a Livery Stable at 57 State Street.
The closest names to "Mr. Filer" in the 1845 directory are Henry Files, a miller, and Michael Filon, a carriage manufacturer, at 125 Main Street.
