There are multiple instances of a double transfer on the stamp.
Letter datelined New York Oct 30, 1845 and signed Woram & H.
The 1845 edition of Doggett's NYC directory lists William Woram (1786-1857) & Eder Vreeland Haughwout (1814-1887) as glass merchants at 561 Broadway. Eder was married to William’s daughter, Elizabeth Woram (1819-1871).
