VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL CLEAR STRIKE OF THE ANNAPOLIS POSTMASTER'S SEAL, WHICH WAS USED TO MAKE THE FAMOUS POSTMASTER PROVISIONAL ENVELOPES AND ALSO RARELY APPLIED AS A POSTMARK.
The Scott footnote to 2XU1 values the blue circle at $7,500.00 with "2" handstamped rate and at $3,500.00 with "5" handstamped rate (on full covers).
