VERY FINE. A FULL BOLD STRIKE OF THE ANNAPOLIS POSTMASTER'S SEAL, THE SAME MARKING USED TO MAKE THE FAMOUS POSTMASTER PROVISIONAL ENVELOPES AND ALSO RARELY APPLIED AS A POSTMARK.
The Scott footnote to 2XU1 values the blue circle at $7,500.00 with "2" handstamped rate and at $3,500.00 with "5" handstamped rate.
