Letter to Luther Bradish (1783-1863), a former President of the New-York Historical Society. Bradish led a notable life serving as an attorney, a representative in the New York State Assembly, Speaker of the Assembly, and Lieutenant Governor of New York. He lived in Moriah, NY, a town in Essex County between Plattsburgh and Albany in the Adirondacks just west of the Vermont Border and Lake Champlain.
Manhasset is a town in Nassau County in central Long Island, NY.
