Jane Gay Corss (1839-?) was the daughter of John Corss Jr. (1801-1880) and Adeline P. (Gay) Corss (1805-1880) and sister of Mary Humphrey Corss Booth (1831-1865), who married Sherman Miller Booth (1812-1904), abolitionist, in 1849. Mary H. C. Booth was an American poet and abolitionist. She published the collection Wayside Blossoms Among Flowers from German Gardens (1865). Jane is listed in the 1860 federal census.
