Lot 2240 1847, 5¢ red brown (Scott 1), nearly four-margined single in what appears to be brown shade, tied by red grid cancel with matching "New-York/Mar/14" postmark to left, on 1848-datelined blue folded letter sheet to Boston; stamp fresh with strong color and detail plus ample to large margins, but with creases, Fine to Very Fine.
