Lot 717 1847, 5¢ red brown, margins large to roughly torn in at bottom, manuscript canceled on 1850 cover to Paris, France with "Way" notation at top, red boxed "Colonies &c Art. 13" handstamp and Calais transit cds, manuscript "30" decimes due rating, Liverpool transit and receiving backstamps, Fine, still a rare "Way" cover usage to a foreign destination bearing the 1847 5¢ issue.
