Letter to Benjamin Pierce Johnson (1793-1869), member of the New York assembly from 1827 till 1830, was president of the State agricultural society in 1845, and its corresponding secretary from 1847 till 1869. He was a commissioner to the International exhibitions in London in 1851 and 1862.
