CDS reads Boston, FEB ?. Cover is addressed to New York with addressee crossed out similar to other covers addressed to Goodhue & Co.
A census search of covers from Boston to New York City mailed in Feb reveals 16 entries with 1 to Goodhue & Co (but not matching) on 2/19/1849. Two others have blank addressees: 2/28/1848 with partial image, stamp position not matching and 2/19/50 with no information in Alexander.
As such, this cover is entered with a FEB xx date as a new entry.
