Letter signed by Fishers & Chapin, operated by George Jabez Fisher (1828-1907), Jabez Fisher (1791-1889), James Tucker Fisher (1817-1864) and Nathaniel Gates Chapin (1817-1893). They are listed as provisioners at 19 South Marker Street in Boston (1850 city directory). Jabez Fisher was father to Harriet Louise (Fisher) Chapin (1822-1910), the wife of Nathaniel. The firm ceased business in 1875.
