The 1850 Boston City Directory lists Hugh R. Kendall & Son as wool merchants at 61 Water Street and the son being Benjamin F or T Kendall.
FindAGrave has a listing for Benjamin Franklin Kendall (1831-1915), being the son of Hugh Rogers Kendall (1800-1864) and Anna Frances Seaver Kendall (1805-1851). Benjamin married Charlotte Ann Fessenden Kendall (1830-1863) in 1850.
