Lot 61 1847: Franklin 5 c. dark brown, a used example with good margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at base, in an exceptional rich shade, used on cover to Columbus, Ohio tied by manuscript pen crosses, with "Canton / Ohio" despatch cds in blue at left. The envelope with file fold well away from the fine adhesive. Scott = $ 900.

The cds is quite faint and barely readable. The lower portion of the date appears to be three characters (JUL), given the month is below the date (example - Jan 17 from stampless cover on EBAY).
The date appears to be 13, with the outer edge of the two loops of the open 3 barely visible about a 1/2 inch to the left of the right side.
