1847 US 5c #1 ~ Red Brown [Premium Margins] on NYC Cover w/Red GRID Fancy Cancel
1847 US Sc #1 ~ Red Brown [Clear Margins] on NYC Cover [Folded Printed Circular] w/Red GRID Fancy Cancel from New York City to Middlebury, Vt.
EBAY lot (pdq$tamp$4U)
Not listed in Alexander
Stamp appears to be tied to folded letter but some of the cancellation on the sheet do not line up with the cancel on the stamp. Also, the stamp appears to be cancelled with a NY red square grid but the cancel to the grid of the stamp appears to be a red circular grid.
