Geni lists Ellen Gurley (1817-1866) from New London Conn as the daughter of John Baker Gurley (1771-1850) and Elizabeth Griswold (1778-1857).
Geni lists Charles Artemus Gurley (1811-1890) as the son of Artemus Gurley (1769-) and Martha Sheppard Artemus and Jacob B were brothers, making Charles A and Ellen first cousins.
