Large four margin stamp with bold color tied to folded cover by black manuscript cancel. Postmarked Louisville, KY, Aug 20. Internal notation dates cover Aug 29, 1849. Erased pencil notation on back, and hinge remnants from mounting on the back. Two tape Cat $1650.
Regency Superior sale 53 unsold (not illustrated online but probably pictured in the sales catalog)

There is clearly a typo here. Is the cds dated 8/20/49 or 8/30/49?
