Robert Schuyler was an engineer at 2 Hanover Street (1849 Doggett).
Robert Schuyler (1798-1855) was President of 5 railroad companies including the Illinois Central, the New York & New Haven and the Harlem Railroad as well as the owner of a Wall street brokerage house.. In 1853 he was guilty of issuing $2 million of fraudulent stock for the New York & New Haven Railroad, one of the greatest scandals of the 19th century.
