Caleb Burbank (1804-1888) was a lawyer and judge in Cherryfield, Maine. He was a partner with William Freeman, Sr. (1822-1905), his brother-in-law. Caleb was married to Charlotte Freeman (1819-). In their latter years, the Burbanks moved to California, living in both San Francisco and Stockton. (The city of Burbank, Ca. is named for Dr. David S. Burbank, an early landowner from Maine who may have been a relative of Caleb’s.)
