James Morris Whiton Jr (1833-) was originally from Boston, graduated in the Yale class of 1853 and was a member of the 6 man crew team. He received his PhD in 1861, became a Congregational clergyman and was principal of Williston Academy in Easthampton. He was married to Mary Eliza Bartlett of Brooklyn, NY and they had 4 children.
